Gatemore Emblem

Shareholder Activism for the Modern Age

Founded in 2005 and based in London, Gatemore manages an activist strategy focused on turnarounds, recoveries, and growth opportunities, principally across the UK and US. Whereas most active managers focus solely on identifying value, our strategy is based on creating value. We believe that taking a more engaged approach enables us not only to outperform broader markets but also to understand and control risk in a fundamental way.

Installing a Winning Team

In 2017, Gatemore built a substantial stake in DX Group plc and replaced the board of directors, installing a team which has led a remarkable turnaround and return to profitability and growth

Supporting a Founder-Led Turnaround

In 2019, Gatemore started to build a position in SupeDry plc, supporting the return of Julian Dunkerton to the role of CEO and his plans to revitalize the brand
